ANAN MCPD Programme

ANAN MCPD Programme – There are two professional accountancy associations in Nigeria, and ANAN is one of them. ANAN is the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria. It has regulatory authority in Nigeria.

ANAN was founded in January 1979. Its national headquarters is in Abuja, and the president is Chief Hajia Zuwaira Talatu Kishimi, FCNA. She is the 14th president of ANAN. She assumed office at the investiture ceremony in 2025.

About MCPD by ANAN

The Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) platform is designed to enable members to access training, conference materials, seminar materials, textbooks, journals, articles, video lectures, and practical step-by-step methods for solving accounting problems and other contemporary issues.

The MCPD programme will provide information on current developments in the accountancy profession remotely, irrespective of where members are located in the country or in other countries.

Technology underpins the unprecedented development experienced by Organizations and Professional associations across the globe in this era, which is now called the era of Digital Darwinism. MCPD is one of the measures ANAN has put in place to ensure the versatility of members in accounting practice locally and worldwide.
